Narrow AI preservation

Capability is not the problem; generality is. Narrow AI captures economic value with bounded scope while general systems drive the risk.

Mechanism

Actively preserve specialised, narrow AI and discourage the general-purpose trajectory via training specification and deployment scope verification.

Falsification signal

Narrow compositions cannot match general system economic returns.

The strategies accept different premises about what AI is or what the binding problem is. They conflict not on lever choice but on the frame that makes lever choice sensible.
